Get a dose of luxury in this New England style, reverse living house, ideal for a group of friends, a family or even a couples’ retreat (plus canine companions of course). Three large bedrooms, open-plan living area, and stylish vintage-meets-modern interior provide an indulgent basecamp, just half a mile’s stroll to the Westward Ho! Beach. So you can wander back after a day of amusements, swimming, golf, and fetch.

Three spacious, sumptuous bedrooms — one double, one king, and one super-king — greet you as you enter the peaceful lower floor. All three could be the master bedroom and what’s more, two en-suite and one main bathroom mean that everyone can be ready to head down to the beach at the same time. Upstairs is your social, open living space. Cosy up around the wood burner or enjoy the sea air on your balcony. But the best part of this house might be the outdoor area. The large enclosed garden is ideal for a couple of pups to safely shake off their swim, plus you have your very own hot tub on the patio, so you can watch them in style.

Situated on the North Devon coast, Westward Ho! is a seaside village in every sense. A wide, 2-mile beach is ideal for dogs to run and wade. Shops offer traditional fish and chips and beach toys. Return home with new skills by signing up for surfing lessons — there are several surf schools to choose from along the beachfront. The town of Bideford, 2.5 miles south, offers a range of restaurants, shops, and a quaint pannier market with artisan traders in a covered Victorian building. And kids and adults alike will love the Milky Way Adventure Park, a 12-mile trip along the coast.

Stunning property in great location very near the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Exceptionally clean and very well equipped. We had dogs with us and the extra thoughtfull treats and dog bowls were much appreciated thank you. The hot tub was a treat and towels were provided. We had a very friendly welcome from John, Salty Tides is an immaculately clean, spacious & well laid out property with everything you need & more for a comfortable stay, very dog friendly with an ultra secure garden, we loved the hot tub & the huge garden set for eating al fresco. Fantastic house in a great location. Short walk to the sea front, but far enough away for peace and quiet. House is lonely and has everything you could need. We will be back.

Salty Tides is a great holiday house and we had a really wonderful holiday there. The house was clean, spacious and very well equipped. We loved the welcome gifts and were particularly happy with the coffee machine, the decent pots and pans and the proper kitchen knives. The hot tub was lovely.

A really beautiful home from home. Very high quality comfortable and practical accommodation. Lots of thoughtful touches made our stay brilliant. Genuinely dog friendly with secure fence. Great location. Beach and restaurants and shops all 10 minutes walk. Quiet residential area.

It was such a lovely property, with all the things you'd need in your home from home. Great location with only a short wall to the shops and beach. Lots of restaurants to choose from if you fancied a meal out. John's communication was great and when we found we had no black bags in the house, he had some dropped off. Fabulous house which was perfect for us ( 4 adults, 2 teens and a Labrador) Unfortunately the weather wasnt the best to utilise the hot tub, but having the barbecue and summer house with games provided was brilliant. All rooms were spacious and comfortable and location was perfect.
