The property is located fairly near to wind turbines a fact that was not mentioned at all anywhere. Luckily none of our party suffered in this connection but some people do. The weather was very windy for a couple of days and the noise of the turbines was quite noticeable outside but luckily not inside at all. Could be a problem if you wanted to kRead moreeep any windows or doors open in the warmer weather if the wind got up. The heating was not working at all, no heating or hot water. Owner was informed who responded promptly but no heating engineer was available until our departure date. An additional electric heater was provided but the comfort was compromised... a refund or some form of compensation would be welcome.

We love staying at the Cowshed. Our dogs, 2 corgis and a Lurcher all enjoy the garden. We know they are safe running around once we have closed the gate, although if you have a very small dog or a dog that is prone to jumping fences wed recommend keeping an eye on them. The house itself is lovely, big comfy sofas to sit on in the lounge, and a kitcRead morehen with a big range cooker. There are some wonderful dog friendly places and beaches to visit nearby. This has clearly been a lovely holiday home but needs some serious improvements.
