Bring your furry best friend for sandy-pawed adventures, staying in this charming seaside property. With room for four humans in two versatile bedrooms, it boasts a fabulous location, a cosy wood burner and a pretty garden with a stream.
This whitewashed cottage boasts delightful original features which blend with modern comforts to create a welcoming space where you and your pup can completely relax. The ground floor boasts an open-plan living area where a wood burner, soft sofa and Smart TV create a cosy setting in which to unwind. The farmhouse-style kitchen includes an electric AGA as well as a microwave and air fryer for versatile cooking. Set the dog bed on the tiled floor and enjoy convivial meals before heading up to the bedrooms on the first floor for a good night’s sleep. These pretty rooms feature pale walls, wooden floors and soft colours, creating a delightfully tranquil atmosphere. The family bathroom offers the option of long soaks in the roll-top bath or a refreshing shower. Outside, a long, lawned garden, with a stream running through it, has space in which to drink, dine or simply sit and enjoy the fresh air as you watch your hound play (do bear in mind the garden is not enclosed). Parking for one car is provided.
The cottage is in the small fishing village of Porthallow, around 150 metres from the dog-friendly beach where your furry pal can chase a ball in the surf or amble on the pebbles. Explore the rest of the Lizard Peninsula, with its many walking trails and scenic coastal path, or head to Gweek (9 miles) for a family day out at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, where canines on leads are welcome everywhere but the seal hospital and indoor cafe.
