The bustling promenade is lined with pubs, cafes and amusements, continuing on to vibrant Beach Street (1.5 miles), where colourful converted shipping containers house independent shops, bars and street food vendors. Venture further afield and you’ll find fascinating days out including Sutton Hoo (15 miles). The county town of Ipswich lies 14.5 miles away, while the scenic Suffolk and Essex Coast and Heaths National Landscape is within easy reach for walkies to remember.
