This lovely holiday home in the Norfolk village of Mundesley is perfect for families and two four-legged friends seeking a traditional bucket and spade holiday. Ideally situated in a quiet location, just 500 metres from the sandy beach where your pups can go mutts and enjoy splashing in the sea. There is access to the Norfolk Coast Path and the Paston Way from Mundesley for adventures through inland villages or along cliff-tops and beaches. The traditional seaside town of Cromer is 8 miles away, boasting a pier and sandy beaches.

This attractive cottage is light and airy with plenty of room for socialising. Step into the hallway and follow four paws straight ahead into the inviting kitchen/diner. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances to rustle up some family favourites and to gather for informal meals. The dining room is the perfect spot for evening meals and flows through to a light-filled conservatory with French doors, where you can relax after dinner. A spacious lounge has comfortable seating to unwind on, a Smart TV and two sets of French doors to the garden. Two double bedrooms, a chic family bathroom and a shower room complete the downstairs. Upstairs is an en-suite double bedroom, and guests can request an additional single pull-out bed for one extra guest. Soak up the sea air and sunshine in the wraparound garden or unwind on either the upper or lower deck and dine alfresco. There is private parking for four cars.

Set tails wagging with a day exploring National Trust Blickling Hall (13 miles) with its magnificent gardens and extensive rolling parkland. Just lovely, fantastic, spacious accommodation ten minutes walk from a beautiful quiet beach. Brilliantly equipped kitchen you can genuinely cook in. Great base from which to explore a very pretty bit of the world. We had a lovely time.

Nice house, plenty of room for big families. Lots of doors - really useful for keeping dogs contained. A short walk to the beach, although some of this is on local roads without pavement. It was quite quiet when we went with two small children and two dogs. I wouldn't want to do the walk to the beach with that collection in peak season if driveRead morers are as fast as some were. Observe the warnings with the decking as they are slippery when wet. Very usefully a hose is available in the garden to rinse your dog off after the beach. Beds are low but comfortable. All in all a comfortable stay and would stay again. Hide
