Enjoy the wonders of Windermere from this lovely lodge at Troutbeck Bridge. Situated on a well-kept site, the two-bedroom bolthole, which is 3 miles from Ambleside, sleeps four guests and has an enclosed deck where you and your faithful friend can soak up the spring and summer sunshine. There are shared on-site facilities, including a shared swimming pool and steam room.
Follow your happy hound up the steps onto the deck. Dry damp paws, then enter to find creatively designed accommodation. At the heart of the holiday home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you and your soft-eared pal can spend quality canine time together. Provide him with brimming bowls of food and water in the kitchen, where you will also find everything you need to help you whip up meals for yourselves with the ingredients you have sourced. Pull a chair out from the table or sit back on the comfortable seating and find a film on the Smart TV. Open the patio doors so you and your chum can wander in and out with ease. Settle him for the night before ambling off to your bedrooms, a king-size, with an en-suite shower room, and a twin. There is also a family bathroom within the lodge. Have morning coffee and even breakfast out on the deck while your four-pawed pal watches the world go by. Sip a sundowner out here on fine evenings and indulge in a spot of stargazing together. There is parking for two cars.
Grab the lead and head out on a scenic 6-mile circular walk that takes in the panoramic views from Wansfell. Walk 2.5 miles together up Orrest Head for spectacular vistas out across Windermere. Board a dog-friendly lake cruise from Bowness-on-Windermere, 2 miles away, to savour the stunning scenery around you from the water.
