Leave shoes and boots in the outdoor storage space and take a few steps up to the open-plan living area. Designed with cosiness in mind, copper accents and natural wood fixtures create a relaxing atmosphere, while attractive decor adds a touch of elegance. Enjoy countryside views from the comfort of the double bed or snuggle up on the loveseat. In sunny weather, push open the traditional stable door and let Fido safely roam around the enclosed lawn. The neat kitchen is perfect for creating simple meals and you can dine at the rustic wooden breakfast bar or the outdoor table with paddock views as backdrop. A pretty boutique shower room completes the space. Outside, soak in the fresh air and let your pup sniff out new scents among the trees. When the evening draws in, pour a drink and watch the sunset, then spark up the fire pit and enjoy a spot of stargazing. There’s also private parking for one car (200 metres from the hut).
Pull on walking boots and climb Colmer’s Hill (4 miles) or Lewesdon Hill (3.5 miles). Your pup will love scampering through the woods and fields, and you’ll be rewarded with stunning views from the summits. For coastal adventures, hop on the South West Coast Path or journey to dog-friendly Eype Bech (5.5 miles). For restaurants, pubs, and cafes, head to the market town of Bridport (2.5 miles). Alternatively, journey to Lyme Regis (8 miles) and spend the day fossil hunting, swimming, or sailing.
