The property and location were absolutely perfect. The property was very homely, with nice personal touches, and it was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed and more. The house is located within easy reach of the section of the Tarka Trail running alongside the River Torridge, and we used this to walk into Bideford and Instow. We very much enjoyed a visit to the local Tapeley Park Gardens, which was fairly quiet during our visit, and made for a very relaxing day out. Sunday lunch at the Westleigh Inn was very enjoyable and very good value for money. The location was ideal for visiting the wide North Devon area, with Barnstaple, Braunton, Saunton Sands, Croyde and Ilfracombe all within a short drive. We had a great week at the Old School House, Westleigh, and it was a real wrench to have to leave. Hide
