Tucked away amongst miles of beautiful fields, rolling hills and chocolate-box villages, your holiday accommodation sleeps four humans and three doggies. Sniff out scenic trails from the comfort of your doorstep, padding across trickling streams and pausing for a slap-up lunch at one of the neighbouring village pubs.

Single-level and spacious, the property has been lovingly designed to maximise space and is equipped with lots of homely details and stylish accessories. Fido can snooze in the sunlight by the French doors as you sip your morning coffee in the open-plan living space, anticipating a delicious breakfast sizzled up in style in the kitchen area. Both gorgeous bedrooms feature their own handy en-suites and plenty of room for a basket, one of which is easily accessed via some steps from the lounge. Step into the garden to fire up the BBQ for al fresco suppers, relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine in hand as Fido stretches his legs on the lawn. Keep an eye on curious pups around the unfenced pond!

Pack up a picnic and embark on an adventure, marvelling at the scenery of the River Exe from Tiverton 6.5 miles away, or venturing to Exmoor National Park 17 miles away to scamper across the varied landscape. The city of Exeter 12.5 miles away is brimming with historic buildings, shops and restaurants, and you can stroll down to the quay to dine by the waterside. Closer to home, the pretty village of Bickleigh 3.5 miles away boasts a stunning location on the banks of the River Exe, featuring a 14th-century bridge, a water mill, and a railway museum.

Our third stay & just as amazing as the other two. Suzy and Dick are amazing and go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. Our dogs love being able to run around in the enclosed field and we love being able to soak up the peace and quiet in such a stunning location! Cannot recommend enough!

We had a fantastic week staying at West Hayne Cottage. It's such a lovely peaceful location and sitting in the hot tub overlooking the fields with no sound other than the birdsong made for a truly relaxing stay! The accommodation is smart and clean and we found the beds to be very comfortable. An amazing location with the most welcome owners. The cottage is down several small lanes but is well worth the drive. What a great place to stay. The views at from the lounge area and hot tub were perfect to watch the sun go down. Archie the staffie loved teh access to the large garden and field below for his short walks. We stayed with friends so 4 adults in teh cottage which was fine. You wouldn't want anymore people though. Suzy and Dick were amazing. Extremely responsive on email beforehand and so welcoming of us and our children. Lovely homemade shortbreads and tons of activities to keep the kids occupied. Best thing was the hot tub which we LOVED - excellent temperature thank you so much!

The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed throughout our holiday. It was beautiful inside & outside. It was lovely & peaceful. Nice enclosed garden for our dog to run free & games for the whole family to enjoy. The hosts were nice & friendly also.

This location is both beautiful and peaceful. Everything you could possibly need , is provided and even our food delivery was unpacked for us ! Delicious treats were also left ready for us to enjoy and everything our dog needed, too. Dick and Suzy were so friendly and couldn't have been more welcoming. Would definately recommend !

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. It was exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable break. Wonderful peaceful and scenic location. The perfect setting to get away from it all whilst still being within easy reach of both of Devon's coasts. Facilities were first rate. Our hosts were very friendly and made sure that we didn't want for anything.

West Hayne really is the perfect getaway for those who want peace, space and stunning sunsets. We had a fabulous stay, the cottage has everything you could possibly need and the owners Suzy and Dick were a pleasure to work with. We arrived during a storm but it didnt stop us having a fabulous relaxing week. Sitting in the hot tub with those amazing views is delightful.

My stay at West Hayne was brought about due to needing a bolt hole for me and my two dogs between moving house. But it turned into a completely relaxing break. If you are thinking of booking West Hayne stop thinking and book it! You will not be disappointed it has the Wow factor and Dick & Suzy are the most wonderful hosts. The local pub Ring O Bells serves wonderful food, great fun walking back in the dark- spotted a baby hedgehog and a bat! We will be back

We stayed at West Hayne recently and what an amazing time we all had! The children loved collecting eggs daily and picking fruit and veg from the patch in the garden.
