With roots dating back to the 1400s, this property has embraced every aspect of its most recent chapter and provides an ideal haven for all, whether you are looking for a relaxed getaway immersed in nature or a fun-filled family break.

A picturesque thatched cottage, both the exterior and interiors unpretentiously hark back to bygone years. With sloping floors, split levels and exposed beam ceilings, it is brimming with character and has a quirky, welcoming feel throughout. Come inside and wrestle off your layers in the utility area – a useful space post-walk. A favourite amongst budding chefs and eager pups, the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need. Make use of the ample worktop space and large gas range-style oven as you prepare family favourites. A winner amongst little kids and big kids at heart, the ground floor’s games room with table football and games is the perfect solution for rainy days. Up the steep, cottage-style stairs, you will come to a sloped landing that branches off to each of the bedrooms and family bathroom with feature roll-top bath. So that everyone has somewhere to snuggle into, there is a twin bedroom, small double bedroom, double bedroom (access by one side of the bed) and a master king-size bedroom with en-suite steam shower. Outside, relax in the private hot tub and sauna as the kids play on the lawn with the dogs. A shared dog walking paddock is available and is accessed via a short walk along a road. Guests will be responsible for their dogs when using the paddock.

This cottage is very quirky and unique. The floors do slope but it adds to its character in my opinion. The hot tub was amazing, the garden was bliss. The beds were incredibly comfy, and cosy Rooms were a great size and fit for everyone. The location was great but on a busy road so be careful when exiting.

Fantastic! 5 of us & our dog went to celebrate my husband's 60th. Such a great place to escape to. Friendly hosts, lovely welcome basket, hot tub was amazing & the house was just perfect, we did bump our heads on the low door frames a couple of times, we brought several non slip rugs for the floors so the dog didn't injure himself (we're all very cRead morelumsy Hide

If youre looking for somewhere quirky, old and authentic then Little Greenslade is the cottage for you. The reviews dont do this place justice. The cottage is extremely spacious with added mod cons. We absolutely loved our little cottage for the week. Very spacious and it had everything that we needed. The hot tub was well used and was a lovely end to the day. There is a sauna but we didnt use that. For dog walks there is a paddock just next to the house but also a massive woods (Abbeyford woods) only 11 minutes away.

A lovely 400 year old cottage, but be AWARE low doorways and VERY uneven floors especially upstairs everything on a slant upstairs, I wouldnt take children and to get to the dog paddock and pub you have to walk on a very busy fast road no footpath.
