This chic property is located in the popular seaside resort of Westward Ho! and sleeps four guests and two canine chums. You’ll be just over 0.5 miles from the beach, so you can live like a local and enjoy a surf or dog walk on the sand before you’ve even had breakfast. The chilled-out vibe of this quirky village will make your holiday peaceful and relaxed and you’ll leave feeling fully refreshed.

The property is located on a family-run caravan park. Neutral tones and nautical touches run throughout the stylish open-plan ground floor apartment. Large French doors flood the space with natural light and enable the dogs to happily stroll in and out of the enclosed lawned garden. The hard floors make cleaning up sandy pawprints nice and easy, too. In the evening, why not grab a bag of fish and chips and enjoy some al fresco dining on the terrace, before pouring a glass of wine and sinking into your own private hot tub?

As well as the 2 miles of golden sand to explore (just watch out for dog restrictions on the first part of the beach during summer months), you also have easy access to the South West Coast Path. At sunset, meander along the 1.5-mile stretch out towards Cornborough Cliffs. At this time of the day, the lighting is spectacular and the views out across the bay towards Hartland Point will have you reaching for your camera every two minutes! The nearby market town of Bideford (3 miles) has some lovely cafes and independent shops to peruse, and there’s also a great play park where the kids can burn off some steam and you can walk the dogs on a lead. For quintessential Devonian charm, head to the unspoilt fishing village of Clovelly (13 miles).

A lovely clean, bright and modern apartment in a great location. Well thought out facilities in the accommodation with some lovely touches to make both us and our dog welcome. Will definitely be back!!

We had a lovely stay and will definitely be coming back. The property was very clean to a high standard. The beach was really close and it took us a view minutes to walk into town. Perfect location.

The apartment is just lovely! Really clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for a family of 4 and having 2 bathrooms was great. Well equipped with everything you need for a short break, including tea/coffee etc and a pack with items like dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid etc.. We took our dogs with us and a dog bed, blankeRead moret, bowl, treats (and poo bags!) were there when we were arrived, such a lovely touch! Hide
