Get away from it all at this gorgeous bungalow, sitting on the southern edge of the Norfolk Broads on the outskirts of a pretty village, it’s perfect for friends or family of all ages with two en-suite bedrooms. You and your canine companion will have a ball outside in the two garden areas, ideal for relaxing and playing. The house and garden are all on one level and there’s a wet room.

This peaceful retreat has been designed with rest and relaxation in mind. You can’t help but switch off amid the calming colours and comfy furnishings. There’s an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner so you can spend time together cooking, eating, and relaxing with a good book or the Smart TV on, and there’s plenty of space for Rover’s bed too. The kitchen is light and bright and has everything you might need. The king-size bedroom has an-suite bathroom, and the twin room has an en-suite wet room with a shower. Sit outside and soak up the sun while Rover sniffs out adventure in the gorgeous front garden and give him a good run around the large lawn area (which is shared with the other two holiday properties).

The bungalow is just outside Rollesby, which is between Ormesby and Rollesby Broads and home to a dog-friendly pub. It’s the perfect place to cast a line or go sailing as motorboats aren’t allowed. Sniff out amazing walks nearby in the Broads and stunning local countryside or let your pup go barking mad on the miles of sandy shoreline, the nearest beach is less than 5 miles away. Winterton-on-Sea (6.5 miles) has a stunning, unspoilt beach or leave Fido at home while you visit Horsey Gap (7.5 miles) to see the local grey seal colony there in the winter months.

Excellent cottage in an ideal location. The back garden is a lovely peaceful spot. Early in the morning and late afternoon there is quite a bit of traffic on the road past the cottage which is a little noisy but it would not stop me staying there again.

This cottage is definitely a step back in time! Cosy, with everything you need. Stairs are steep. Cottage is on road side and a little noisy in mornings. Great secure garden for dog, sadly too cold to sit out. The location is just so perfect to visit everywhere. Pub serves great food. This was a short break but we loved it, and will return.

Lovely unpretentious property with lovely garden. In a lovely location for dogs- great garden- gate leads to common across the road- with access to bridle path and fields- doggy heaven. The cottage was well equipped and cosy. Enjoyed stay - just needs more attention to detail with cleaning

We enjoyed 2 relaxing nights away in this lovely cosy cottage. The bedding and towels were spotless, the bed very comfy and we slept well. There is some road noise during the day but it is to be expected given the location of the cottage. At night time, there was silence. We will definitely return.

I would rate this property at the very low end of a 3 star rating. First impressions were of a lovely and very old little cottage with tons of original features as you would expect. But when you start looking it needs more love and care given to it.

Whilst this cottage is in a good location it is very small even by cottage standards and is not comfortable for four persons (the second bedroom is particularly small). The standard of pre-arrival cleaning was also not very good.
