With more space and much more privacy than a hotel room, this property is an excellent choice for those travelling with their canine companion - your pup is bound to love the peaceful garden as much as you will. You can take drinks or meals out here whilst your puppy pal runs around and enjoys the fresh air and freedom of the countryside. In addition, you are also welcome to explore the farm’s impressive 260 acres of land.

Sitting out in the garden of this property you will feel like you are a million miles away from civilisation, and yet it is only 3 miles from the pretty village of Hartland where there is a small array of independent shops as well as a choice of places to eat. Just outside the village, the rugged coastline of Hartland Point offers stunning views out to sea, which you will be free to take in as your dog sniffs around and explores his surroundings. For a change of scene, head outside the village to the stunning country house and gardens at Hartland Abbey, 4 miles away, for a fantastic day trip. The extensive gardens are open to dogs on leads so you can explore together.

Lovely and clean. The garden was great for the dog and would have been lovely to sit in if the weather was better. Settee was comfortable there is a good large table and chairs . The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed . The shower in the bathroom was very good and clean with plenty of room . The bedroom was a very good size with a Read morecomfortable bed and a mirror on the chest of draws which was great for when you dried your hair or put makeup on with plug sockets next to it . A good Hoover was in the kitchen which was good as we have a dog . Although its a working farm we were not disturbed by any noise . Hide

Although not isolated, the cottage is on a working farm, some distance by quiet lanes from the nearest village. It was perfect for me - the coast accessible by foot or a few minutes by car to connect with the South West coast path both on the Atlantic coast and in the Bristol Channel. A lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Location is great if you like quiet remoteness although it is only a short drive to Bude or Bideford and there are good pubs serving great food nearby.

One of the best holidays I have had for a long time. The cottage was set up with everything needed for the first day, the owners were in contact to let us know their number if we needed it, lived nearby and offered to come round if we had any problems. The Linney cottage is a perfect getaway well equipped cottage . We found it comfortable and homely. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden . To be able to see the sea sparkling in the distance was a bonus. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

An under rated property! The accommodation is really comfortable, homely and well equipped. Lovely views from the secure garden. Ideal location for exploring numerous beaches, coves, waterfalls and gardens and an easy short car ride over the Devon border into Cornwall. Superb everything there for a lovely relaxing time the dog box was a great touch a blanket ,feeding mat ,bowls and best of all a bag of treats. Chocolates ,snacks and milk for us was a great welcome from lovely hosts.5 out of 5 .

It was a lovely place to stay. We had everything we needed. If you want to get away from the maddening crowd this is the place to go. Very quiet and relaxing. A great location. Not far from the beaches and lovely walks. We would definitely return.

Everything on arrival was as expected, clean and tidy . The layout was excellent enough room for us and the dog , the bedroom is large and lovely bathroom with walkin shower, all the kitchen equipment was there for us if needed. The place was ideally situated to enable us to get to all parts of Hartland from Bude to Clovelly. The one bedroom cottage was just the right size for the two of us and our dog. The owner was very friendly and happy to provide any assistance if needed.
