This spacious, dog-friendly home, sits on the shores of Lake Windermere, and welcomes three dogs along with five human friends. Set among leafy surrounds, it has an enclosed patio area and easy access to walking routes.

Situated over three storeys, you enter this property on the ground floor where you can find a utility room complete with laundry facilities, a WC, and a handy garage perfect for storing bikes, kayaks, and all your pets’ gear. Alight the stairs to the first floor, home to the open-plan living space. Unwind on the reclining sofas and watch TV as sleeping dogs lie, or cook up a storm in the stylish, well-equipped kitchen. A large dining table is provided for occasion meals. When you are all ready for some shuteye, the second floor is home to the three welcoming bedrooms. Choose from two king-size bedrooms, or a single bedroom which also has a trundle bed, great for the children of the group. Completing the interior is a family bathroom. Outside through the lounge, is a patio garden which is a real sun trap and a great spot for al fresco dining, as the dogs safely explore. Private parking is available for two cars.

The bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere is 1.5 miles away, with plenty of dog-friendly pubs and eateries. Take off on foot and paw along the footpaths that lead along the shoreline of the lake, or join the scenic Bowness Circlar, a stunning 8-mile walk meandering over five different fells. Further afield, visit Kendal (9 miles) with its castle ruins and its rich history, and no visit is complete without a slab of Kendal Mint Cake.
