Make yourselves at home in this beautifully converted cottage situated in the village of Braunton, welcoming a family, or group of four friends, and two dogs. An open-plan living space is great for socialising, while a delightful, enclosed garden boasts a bubbling hot tub for relaxing and soaking the days away.

This pretty home has been refurbished with lovely decor and furnishings to make your stay comfortable and homely. Heading inside, you will find a bright and airy lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has a warming wood burner set in a stone chimney breast, plenty of comfortable seating, and a Smart TV for getting stuck into good movies together. At the other end of the living space is a large kitchen with plenty of surface space and storage, and a kitchen island. Let sleeping dogs lie and climb the stairs to the two well-appointed bedrooms, both of which have en-suite bathrooms. Choose from a king-size bedroom or a double bedroom. Outside, is an enclosed garden with a decked area containing patio furniture, a BBQ, and a sumptuous hot tub where you can admire the far-reaching views.

Braunton is a vibrant village with plenty of independent shops and places to eat within 500 metres. Leading from the village is The Tarka Trail, a 180-mile off-road walking and cycling route that winds all the way to Barnstaple, perfect for sniffing out adventures and soaking up the countryside air. If you fancy a trip to the coast, Saunton Sands (2.5 miles) is dog-friendly all year round and has vast stretches of golden shoreline to run wild and free.

We had a great holiday, the cottage was perfect. very clean, comfortable with a lovely warm feel to it. The out door space and garden was ideal for our dog. The hot tub is a great addition very clean and well maintained. All in all a lovely place to stay.

The cottage is lovely- very comfortable with everything we could need. Annie and Colin very welcoming. The hot tub was amazing for tired legs at the end of each day walking along the coast path. Just a lovely relaxing week!

Absolutely fabulous stay, loved every second of it! Perfect location to visit the surrounding areas, braunton itself is beautiful and we took a few walks to the local shops and also drove to the beautiful woolacombe a few times, did a lovely walk in croyde and mortehoe and had a lovely stroll along saunton sands. The cottage is in a great location for walking and the town with an amazing view. The owners are on hand and so welcoming. The cottage is located on a typical Devon single lane road and we quickly learnt the best approach route. It is immaculate and has everything you need with two bedrooms and bathrooms. What a fantastic cottage! From the brilliantly equipped porch with hooks, shoe storage and dog towels a plenty, to the well equipped kitchen. A fantastically located cottage which is beautifully decorated and extremely well presented. It was very comfortable and well equipped and the wine and cream tea were very much appreciated. Byewood Cottage was perfect for our family and dog! Immaculate, well-equipped, and ideally located for exploring Clovelly, Croyde, and more. Annie and Colin were wonderful hosts who made our stay extra special. Loved the hot tub and relaxing on the terrace. A must-try: curry on Barricane Beach at sunset! Highly recommend.

A lovely cottage with all the facilities that we needed and spotless too. Annie and Colin were wonderful hosts and were friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. Braunton, Saunton Sands, Squires Fish Restaurant and Byewood gave us all the relaxation we were hoping for. We are sure we will return.

Byewood was a fantastic place to stay. Braunton is a good location to tour from by either car or bus. Nearby beaches at Saunton Sands and Westward Ho! are stunning. Annie and Colin were the perfect hostsso friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even unpacked our grocery delivery so we arrived to stocked cupboards (and cold beers!). The cottage is truly dog-friendly with towels, bowls, and throws for the sofa even provided. A beautiful cottage with a very high standard of decor and cleanliness. It was a real treat to stay in such an ideal location for beaches, local independent shops and a large Tesco all within a short walk or drive. A lovely stay in a very comfortable home.. Owners, Annie and Colin live in the adjoining house with shared driveway and garden. They are extremely welcoming and accomodating. Braunton is a pleasant and vibrant town just a short stroll down hill. Reasonable access to other areas by local bus. We recommend the Sunday roast at Duck and Dive. Our only Read moreslight disappointment was the beach was not easily accessible on foot. Although it's less than 5 miles, the route there is not pedestrian friendly. Hide

Beautiful cottage superbly renovated to a very high standard. The cottage itself is lovely, really comfortable and an easy walk to the pubs in the village. Recommend the Black horse. Annie and Colin were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The welcome gifts on arrival were a wonderful touch. We stayed for a week and location was great for us, easy to walk into Braunton, great surfing at Saunton Sands and a great base to visit other areas. Cottage was beautiful and everything you would need provided for. Hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, would definitely recommend a visit.

We had a fantastic weeks stay at Byewood. There was everything you could possible need in the home and more. Annie and Colin were the perfect hosts and made us and our dog feel very welcome. It was a great location for Saunton Sands Beach and only a short walk into Braunton. We would definitely stay again.
