The kitchen is well-appointed and having a dining table and chairs nearby mean that mealtimes remain sociable. At the other end of the barn are the bedrooms. They both offer flexible sleeping arrangements as they come with twin zip-and-link beds which can be turned into king-size doubles if required. Both bedrooms have a family bathroom with a stylish roll-top bath and separate shower. Outside in the garden - always the dog’s favourite room - is an enclosed courtyard area. It has a BBQ and garden furniture so guests can easily relax and have al fresco dinners. The front garden is also very pretty, though dogs are best kept on a lead here due to livestock in adjacent fields.
While the property itself is in a quiet setting, nestled into the North Devon countryside, there is plenty to do nearby. Barnstaple, a vibrant market town with a large selection of shops, pubs and restaurants is just over 5 miles away. The South West Coast path is the perfect place to head with dogs and can be accessed from the town. It’s over 630 miles long so is the ideal walk to take with extremely energetic canines!
