The South West Coast Path passes through Braunton taking in some of the Tarka Trail alongside the River Taw, a relatively flat route fabulous for both walkers and cyclists. Set tails wagging on the beautiful Saunton Sands (4 miles), a fabulous beach that welcomes dogs all year round and is backed by the impressive Braunton Burrows.
