Superb find of a holiday property. Location, location, location. Karen and Colin - a hard working couple that do everything for a pristine, comfortable property offered to a high standard - with every detail and consideration thought of. Extremely kind and generous welcome pack, appreciated. In your search - book The Retreat before someone else doeRead mores. Local area - the lanes often directed by the sat nav are to be avoided, stick to the main roads, the lanes are less than 2m wide, high hedges, same applies to lanes at Lorna Doone Valley and Lee Beach. The stunning Hidden Valley on doorstep is perfect for morning coffee, cream tea, meals / drinks on the terrace and dog friendly. Great for National Trust members, Arlington Court and privately owned Marwood Hill Gardens. Lots to do - will be back to Karen and Colin . Hide

Owner was next door and was very friendly and loved dogs. The property was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. There were a few nice touches when we arrived, a fruit cake, a box of delicious biscuits, treats for the dogs, packet of tea, tin of coffee and milk in the fridge. The garden was secure for the dogs. There was a large play area for Read morechildren with a trampoline and slide etc. gardens around were lovely. Hide
