The rural hamlet of Earlswood sits within the Wye Valley, and with the National Cycling Route (42) running directly through the village, its a cyclist’s dream! The bustling town of Chepstow (6 miles) has a good selection of pubs and restaurants and is steeped in history. Rich in heritage, visit Raglan Castle (13 miles) and the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey (10 miles). Enjoy water sports on Llandegfedd Reservoir (10 miles) before returning for a meal at the local, dog-friendly pub (3 miles). Climb The Sugar Loaf (20 miles) perfect for all ages and marvel at the breathtaking views.

Our second stay at this wonderful home. I had forgotten how well I sleep here! I think it must be the combination of the extremely comfortable bed and the peaceful surroundings. We have enjoyed restful days, lovely walks from the doorstep, Tintern Abbey, and a trip into Cardiff, which is a really lovely city. A very clean and comfortable cottage, in a rural and peaceful location. The property has a good size garden with a lovely patio overlooking beautiful countryside. Inside, the cottage has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and a nice welcome pack greeted us on our arrival.

Perfectly spotless and I mean spotless. It has everything you need for your stay. A truly amazing welcome pack and information packs. A blissful spot with distant view of the Servern Bridge, the Old School House could scarcely be bettered. Very well-equipped, spacious and extremely comfortable, quality shines out across the property. Having an EV charger on site was another benefit. This was our second visit to The Old School House and everything was just as we remembered. The location of the cottage was perfect for us with many walks straight from the door! The property was incredibly clean and very well equipped. We will definitely return at some stage.

A very last minute booking, and we could not have been more happy. Such a lovely comfortable, welcoming, spotlessly clean house, in a wonderful peaceful and scenic location. The School House was super clean, comfortable and well equipped . The lovely enclosed garden was brilliant for the dog and the family. The views from the house were absolutely fabulous and the situation was great. We were able to have some wonderful History days and a couple of great activity days.
