Watch the Smart TV from the comfortable sofa in the lounge area, with Rover curled up at your feet. The compact kitchen has all the essentials you need to make basic grub, although you may prefer to dine in the next-door pub, which has a varied menu and warmly receives dogs. You’ll also enjoy spending time outdoors on the decked area, with the River Avon running alongside you. As you have your own private enclosure, your dog can play freely in the garden while you enjoy your favourite tipple beside the fire pit. Towels and linen provided.
Rise and shine for pre-breakfast walks from your doorstep, or head 2 miles to the rugged open spaces of Dartmoor, where you’ll find plenty of stick-chasing opportunities. If you fancy a day out at the beach, pack the tennis balls and drive to Goodrington North Sands (13 miles), which welcomes canine holiday-goers throughout the year. For a small fee, your dog can also join you on a steam train ride on the South Devon Railway (7 miles) which runs through the beautiful Dart Valley between Buckfastleigh and Totnes.
