Brilliantly located for adventures across land and water, this dwelling sits in the fantastic Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Stay close to home or explore far and wide on foot, paw or perhaps by canoe. Brimming with creature comforts, a handful of games and tons of space for you to fill with laughter and barks, this beautiful barn will have you whisked into holiday mode.

Sitting within the grounds of the owner’s home, make your way inside and find yourself in the spacious open-plan living space. At one end sits a large sofa in front of an electric fire and a TV, the perfect spot to steal away and find a moment of peace. The other end is home to a games area where you can challenge fellow two-legged guests to a game of table tennis. Work up an appetite and head into the bright kitchen to cook up a storm or gather at the breakfast bar. If the sun has its hat on, throw open the patio doors and dine alfresco in the enclosed garden. For a sundowner feast, sizzle up treats on the BBQ as hungry noses sniff the air. Two charming bedrooms can be found on the first floor in the eaves of the house. Reach the twin, part of the mezzanine, via steps and find the king-size by crossing a landing via the twin room. When it’s time to seize the day, rise and shine and freshen up in the downstairs bathroom before heading out.

Lovely well maintained property. The games room was a big hit with everyone. The access to the playing field was a massive bonus to take the dog for an early moring walk. Would definitely recommend to entertain teenagers and perfect for dogs.

Fabulous set up in a comfortable barn in a lovely location. Plenty of space and everything you need. The entertainment spaces are great especially if you have kids/teens with you or the weather is poor. Garden was fully enclosed so was ideal for our pooch who likes to try to escape. Owners were lovely and helpful too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in Folly Days Barn. We found the barn to be extremely spacious and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the games - table tennis, darts, table football and the Wii - the dark evenings of October flew by whilst playing these. Property also benefits from really effective heaters which guests control. Folly Days BaRead morern is in an excellent location - within a 10 minute drive are Symonds Yat, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves and Hopewell Colliery. Highly recmommended! Hide

Place is as described but it was a little overpriced when comparing with other properties nearby. Well equipped, good shower, thought there was a second separate loo but there isn't. Too hot upstairs to sleep in the overly warm weather. Road is very noisy at rush hour times, surprisingly. Couldn't play table tennis without moving the furniture.

We had a wonderful stay! Very impressed with the cleanliness when we first arrived and was nice to have our own drive and enclosed garden. The games area gave us hours of fun! Fantastic barn in great location. Really relaxing and lots of room for all the family. Highly Recommend. The pub is not really walking distance however, especially with kids as the lane you have to walk up has no paths. Only a few minutes by car and worth a visit for lovely welcoming owner and staff.

Beautiful barn, the photos really dont do this property justice. Lots of space & well appointed. We had everything we needed, in a quiet, but central location for walks to Symonds Yat, the River Wye or the Forest Of Dean. We enjoyed the enclosed garden for our dog and us to enjoy the sunshine and relax. Friendly and helpful owners.
