Wow! What a fabulous place. It was smaller than expected, but clean and decorated to a very high standard (especially the map wall!) and the bed was super comfy. We used it as a base to explore the area and had our meals whilst we were out & about, but the kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately the weather was not great so we were unable to enRead morejoy the hot tub or the lovely garden area at the side of the tub, but the views from the lodge were breathtaking. Overall a really nice holiday let, the owners are lovely, very helpful and leave you to enjoy your break, although on hand if you need anything. The hot tub is well maintained and enjoys the view. The lodge is well kitted out and the bed is comfy. There are some nice walks in easy reach, we walked to Crickhowell and Abergavenny. Recommend The BeRead morear in Crickhowell and The Kings Arms in Abergavenny for food. Waitrose is only a few miles up the road for any groceries. The local dog friendly pub only serves pizza and has limited opening hours but plenty of dog friendly places if you dont mind walking a bit further or driving. There is a chip shop in Gilwern, that is open part of the week, and a convenience store. Hide

We had a great time. It was just perfect for me and my husband. Great size for 2 people. Under floor heating was great and easy to control for when we needed it. Hot tub was great too. Really helpful to have the guide with names of places to visit/restaurants etc. A great stay

Wow - what a lovely holiday home! Everything was exactly as described and just as beautiful as the photos. We had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering a visit. Under the Lime Tree has fantastic views. It is in a rural location but close enough to amenities. We came over Christmas. The owners certainly went the extra mile with Christmas treats and festive decorations. In addition, there was complementary shampoo, conditioner, handwash soap, teas, coffees, sugar, oil. What a lovely place to stay! Really enjoyed our experience in this delightful cabin. Warm, cosy, but surprisingly spacious, superbly decorated (I loved the map of the local area on the wall) and very peaceful. Honestly, just what we were looking for. Wish we could have stayed longer

It was not possible to fault this place, we felt it had it all. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with amazing views from the deck and hot tub across the Black Mountains and Sugar Loaf. We had an absolutely lovely stay at the lodge. Super comfy and with really good well thought out equipment and facilities. The hot tub was a joy after mountain biking and hiking and a chilly dip in Keepers pond. I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough. Stylish, clean with wonderful floor to ceiling windows to watch the birds. Glorious.

The lodge feels away from it all in its secluded glade, however it is very close to lots of facilities. At night it's very quiet and restful. The views are great and we enjoyed watching the squirrels being very cheeky. :) The hot tub is great too. The owners are responsive but discreet.
