We stayed in Primrose cottage, a very pleasant location, well situated for outings in Dorset, Devon and Somerset. An outstanding feature was a copious supply of hot water.

Accommodation was perfect for our needs (couple plus one dog). Well equipped, comfortable, good sized bed (which is rare), thoughtfully laid out, and a really good shower. Rare to get a washer/dryer in the kitchen plus a dishwasher but this had it all. Location was perfect, not far from a local villages, down a long drive in a beautiful rural settiRead moreng, paddock/ meadow for the dog, good area to park the car, and plenty of local walks via Ordinance Survey routes. We loved it. (Winyards Gap pub in Chedington nearby was a great find). Hide

Cannot fault this accommodation. Perfect setting, well equipped comfortable facilities, and lovely owners. The grounds are amazing to look out on and ideal for walking our dog Frank who thoroughly enjoyed his time with the owners dogs. Thank you so much for our stay and look forward to booking in again.

Beautiful setting, lovely property. Our dog Roxy had a visit from Lord Albert the resident Labrador which was lovely. We were at ease with Roxy roaming around the field, she loved running about. We had a lit fire when we arrived which was a nice touch, would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet peaceful break

We wanted a break away from it all, and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful surroundings in one of a group of four cottages. Tastefully decorated, the history of the buildings was fascinating, the effort taken in their restoration is evident everywhere. We will definitely be returning, hopefully before too long
