We had a lovely stay at this property. It felt a bit small on arrival but you soon adapt quickly and enjoy the cosiness of the place. We were a couple, teenager and two larger dogs so it did feel a little tight on times, but we still enjoyed. The bed and bedding are brilliant quality, we slept so good, even my wife who has insomnia slept through thRead moree night! The kitchen and living space are lovely and cool which the dogs appreciated a lot. The sun room is stunning, we ate in here and spent the evenings playing card games and soaking up the views from this room. Shower is lovely and hot and surprisingly powerful. Sofa is so comfortable too for relaxing after a busy day out - just a tad awkward to watch TV from but we didn't do much of that anyway. Garden on this side is a little small, but it did it's job for the dogs to be able to go out and it was fully secure so no stress for us. The local areas are fantastic for walking, quaint towns, enjoying beautiful views and everywhere is extremely dog friendly. Overall, an ideal place to stay if you're exploring Brecon and other surrounding areas, wanting peace, quiet, starry nights, incredible scenery wherever you look and just somewhere to wind down away from the daily grind. We didn't need to communicate with the owners as we had no issues that needed immediate attention, but I'm sure they'd have been happy to help should we have needed to. Hide

A lovely cottage off the beaten track, which was cool after a hot day. The bed was very comfortable with the second bedroom ideal as dressing room. We would be happy to stay again in the future. The carpet in some areas had seen better days.

Delightful cottage in very quiet, but accessible and easy to find location. Thoughtfully and comfortably furnished. Excellent quality utensils, and clean good quality appliances. South facing garden ideal for al fresco breakfast, which we enjoyed in March! Ideal for our needs, will definitely consider in the future.

Cosy country cottage with lovely views. The garden is small but full fenced so is dog proof. My daughter and I and our medium sized dog had a great stay here. The cottage is warm and comfortable. It was also easy to find and The Felinfach Griffin is a very welcoming pub which sells delicious food. The owner was also very helpful and communicative.
