A Perfect Peak District Escape Highly Recommended! We recently spent Monday to Friday at Peak Garden Cottage with four adults and two dogs, and we couldnt have asked for a better base for our trip. The Cottage: The cottage is brilliantbeautifully proportioned, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The layout, with two large double rooms and a Read morespacious open-plan kitchen, diner, and living area, feels cozy yet comfortable. It is decorated to a high standard, and I can imagine it being just as pleasant in the winter as it was during our July stay. Its fully equipped with everything you could need, including a BBQ which we made great use of. Location & Accessibility: The location is idealvery easy to find, just off the A-road to Chesterfield. Its a great spot for walking, with several trails accessible right from the front door, and its only a short drive to some truly spectacular Peak District scenery. Parking was ample for our needs, and the addition of an EV charger made life much simpler for our two electric vehicles. As a tip for others, if you have multiple cars, the National Trust car park next door is free for NT members and was very handy. The Surroundings: Having the enclosed garden was a huge plus for the dogs, and having the Robin Hood Pub right next door was the icing on the cake. Its a lovely spot serving everything from breakfast to dinner with a great selection of cask ales. The staff are brilliantthey even offered a takeaway service and kindly brought our meals over to the cottage for us. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time in the Peak District, made even better by our stay at this lovely cottage. We wouldnt hesitate to return! Hide

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location for walking the Edges in the Peak District. The grounds of Chatsworth are also in walking distance. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy with everything that you could possibly need. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden at the rear. Highly recommended!

A perfectly situated cottage with a lovely garden. Chatsworth, Bakewell and Buxton all on the doorstep. Cottage beds were comfy. Cottage was lovely but we had booked this particular cottage for the hot tub but sadly it had been removed prior to our arrival. We were compensated through so this was appreciated.
