For days out, head to Ladybrooke Reservoir, less than 2 miles away, or the Derwent Reservoir, less than 6 miles, which both offer up more walks than you can shake a stick at, as well as cycling and fishing opportunities. Or climb up to Bamford Edge (1.5 miles) and be rewarded by breathtaking views. The dog-friendly local pub and the local bakery are a short walk of 150 metres from the house, meaning treats for the whole family are never too far away.
