Then come together around the dining table to enjoy a delicious meal rustled up in the modern kitchen. There is a further ground floor WC and sink within a cloak room. Outside there is a small patio area at the rear, perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink.

We had a great stay at Glen House. The accommodation was of a very good standard - comfortable beds and a shower room / bathroom per room too - and space to spread out downstairs; the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans and crockery. Bamford proved to be a great location - we were able to walk from the door for a variety of walks on the edges and fellRead mores and along the river (the weir and river at Bamford were stunning). The boot room was a real bonus on re-entering the house after a day's walking. Hide

Comfortable cottage for family of 5. Multiple bathrooms a bonus. No parking so a bit tricky sometimes with bags and shopping. Community pub 2 mins walk. Beautiful (but steep) walk from the cottage to Bamford Edge. Easy access to Sheffield. Overall quite clean but one of the showers was in need of a good scrub!

This cottage was perfect for our family get together. It is like a tardis - much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside! The fully equipped (large) kitchen was great, bedrooms/bathrooms were bright and comfortable, both sitting rooms offered good space to relax and the entire place was spotless. Great Cottage in a good location. Bamford is fairly central for what we wanted. Close to Stannage and other climbing areas. The cottage has lots of room, plenty of equipment and space for 6 adults. The village has a great bakery and co-operative pub / cafe and post office.
