A stay at this delightful two-bedroom cottage in the Peak District National Park is a breath of fresh air for you and your pets. Not only does it sleep four people, but up to three dogs are welcome, and will no doubt benefit from close proximity to beautiful countryside, just on the doorstep. You’ll find the village shop just 100 metres away from the property and the local pub a short walk away, not to mention great rambles. From the cottage windows are far-reaching views over the national park’s rolling hills – bound to set tails wagging. And even if you can’t manage a long trek, you can enjoy the scenery from the front garden bench – pure bliss with a cup of tea in hand and a pooch by your side.

Inside, the property offers smart, contemporary accommodation across an open-plan layout. The attractive decoration and furnishings make it easy to unwind after a long day exploring, and there’s plenty of space to relax in the lounge and dining area. The floors in the living area are a combination of slate and solid oak, so you won’t have to worry about muddy paws on pristine carpets! The double bedroom is decorated with stylish furniture; a soothing space to sleep. Next door, the twin room has plenty of storage and looks out to wonderful countryside views.

Take your hounds and head out for an adventure in both town and country. Chatsworth House, an impressive historic property, is around 20 miles away, where dogs are welcome in the grounds, and the elegant spa town of Buxton is only 5 miles north, where you can enjoy cultural attractions and several pet-friendly cafes, bars and pubs. Or just roam the untamed hills and valleys of this much-loved region with your trusty best friend.

Second time in this cottage this year. It's a lovely cottage, warm and comfortable. It's on the main A53 busy road, but is no problem. Just be aware if you have a dog. Fantastic views. Great base for the peak district and a lovely pub in Flash which is 5 mins drive away.

This is a lovely cosy cottage in a lovely part of the Peak District. The cottage is very dog friendly and well equipped. We found the beds very comfortable and the views are spectacular. The cottage is quite near Athe A53 which is a busy moorland road but the cottage has good sound insulation and is very quiet.

We had a brilliant time. The cottage is very nice and quiet. It is next to a very busy road the A53, so if you have a dog just beware, there is no gate on the outside garden or drive. The cottage stands back from the road so no danger. I must admit I couldn't find the cottage. I had to ring Andrew who is a very nice person. It isn't in Flash, its oRead moren the main road going into Buxton . The pub in Flash is very nice and very welcoming which is 20 mins walk away. Just watch the road. Hide
