For those who like to feel the sand beneath their toes, the seaside towns of Bude and Westward Ho! are within 20 miles, both providing access to the dramatic South West Coast Path. There are plenty of local, market towns with a range of independent shops and eateries, such as Hatherleigh (6 miles), Holsworthy (8.5 miles) and Okehampton (13 miles).
