We had a lovely stay here, for 10 nights! We really valued being left alone and felt private which is what we value most. Dogs were happy with the enclosed garden, and the location is fantastic for walks, Tarka trail near by, Bideford and local takeaways great! Near to main supermarkets but far enough to feel secluded. A wonderful and well thought out property. Perfect for dogs, the garden is completely enclosed and lots of lovely beaches to walk locally. The house can be sectioned using stair gates, to help keep the cottage clean. Lovely facilities within the house, wonderful log burner for a cosy night in and the hot tub was a huge hit. Highly recommend!

Very secure for our dogs, could keep the door open for them and not worry that they could escape. Barn was inviting and comfortable. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Nice big TV with lots of channels.

Was a comfortable stay, it did smell of wee when we first entered the house, we put this down to previous animals having accidents on the carpets/then once cleaned and when the house is all locked up the smell can sometimes linger? A few days later we noticed an abnormal amount of flies appearing inside the property, this was quickly resolved by thRead moree owners, although a day later, more flies did appear. Apart from that, it was a good stay. Just needs some tlc and the hot tub was a great bonus. Hide

Beautiful building and location. Not as clean as on first view and the fly infestation was like something out of a horror film. Luckily, it was our last night when this became a huge problem. Otherwise, we would have left earlier. The flys are clearly an issue as there were fly papers around. Just needs a proper clean and not having gardeners turniRead moreng up unannounced while you are staying in the property . Luckily, we were out with our dog at the time Otherwise we wouldn't be held responsible Hide

Lovely cottage in idealic location. Well equipped cottage with lovely views over the hills. Really efficient check in and communication was excellent from the owners. We had a problem with water heating and that was quickly resolved. Our only negative is we feel the carpeted areas and sofa needed a clean, otherwise a great cottage.

Beautiful area, rural, peaceful setting. Cottage had plenty of space and privacy. Toilet in ensuite leaked, plug riser in bath did not work, both the bathroom and ensuite smelt of drains and the paintwork around the door handles on the inside of some of the doors was dirty. I have paid less for better accommodation.
