Park up the car in the dedicated space at the top of the meadow and walk down to this pretty cabin. Stepping inside through the stable door, you will find bright colours and bold patterns. To one side is a small kitchenette for rustling up quick meals, alongside a two-seater dining table, and a colourful sofa. Fire up the wood burner and warm up your toes and paws before curling up in the sumptuous double bed to rest and recuperate. Outside and adjacent to the property is a separate cabin which contains your private shower and WC. The front decked area is equipped with a picnic table and a fire pit, and beyond this is a babbling brook, perfect for doggy paddling in the summer months, and large, luscious meadows where you are free to wander and roam.
You can head off from the doorstep and find several walks leading to Talgarth Common (3 miles) and the fringes of the Black Mountains. Get the adrenaline pumping and tails wagging with a hike up Hay Bluff (5.5 miles) or Twmpa (5 miles) which offer magnificent views across the region. Take to the water or enjoy some mountain biking at the large Llangorse Lake (7.5 miles). The vibrant literary town of Hay-on-Wye (6.5 miles) has plenty of eateries and dog-friendly pubs for you to refuel.
