Roam the rolling Shropshire Hills with your faithful friend by your side then return together to this enticing barn conversion. Sleeping eight guests, the five-bedroom holiday home offers generous, light-filled accommodation for a large group of guests, and has an enclosed courtyard garden where people and pups can bask in the sunshine. Situated on a working farm at Tugford, 10.5 miles from Ludlow, the former barn is set in scenic countryside at the foot of Brown Clee Hill, with its trails and footpaths, some of which take in part of the Shropshire Way.

Follow your furry friend one step up into the beautiful barn. Find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with gorgeous, exposed beams and stonework, and a wood burner for warming chilly paws. Let your paw-some pal pad about while you settle back on the soft seating in front of the Smart TV. Head over to the kitchen to dish up doggy dinners and prepare tasty meals for humans. Dine at the table by the window while your chum stretches out. As night falls, bid him goodnight and head off to bed. One bedroom, a king-size with Jack and Jill access to the family bathroom, is up four steps. The rest, all with sloping ceilings, are at the top of the iron and wooden, open-tread staircase. These include two doubles, one with an en-suite shower room, and two singles. There is also a family shower room. Spill out into the garden to let your chum stretch his legs on fine mornings. Light the BBQ here on warm evenings. There is parking for four cars.

Lace up your boots, grab the dog lead and head out to follow a section of the 100-mile Jack Mytton Way. Enjoy a long stroll together at the National Trust’s Wilderhope Manor, 5 miles away.

My family of eight people and three dogs spent four nights here at the beginning of whit week and it didn't disappoint. The outside space was lovely and because the weather was great, we spent a lot of time in it. The cockerels were very vocal but that is what you would expect from a working farm like this one. The living and kitchen area was big eRead morenough for all of us to be comfortable in and the facilities were excellent. The extra large fridge and freezer in the utility was a bonus as we had ordered a Tesco online shop. Beds were comfortable with more than enough storage for your things and the showers were hot and powerful. The location is perfect for Ludlow and Much Wenlock, which are only a short distance away. The owners were friendly and helpful who left a lovely welcome basket for us. We would recommend this property for large families that are getting together as the inside and outside space, facilities and location are brilliant! We would love to return again in the future. Thanks again for fabulous stay :-) Hide

We booked this lovely little cottage, in rural Shropshire, for a family get-together. The kitchen, although equipped with plenty of crockery and pans, was too small for more than one person to comfortably work in, but the sitting and dining areas were perfect for us to sit, eat and play games. We were able to store out food and drink in a large friRead moredge/freezer, handily accessible in an outdoor shed The bedrooms were nicely done, with comfortable beds and bathrooms had powerful showers. Hi, we had an amazing time and the owners were extremely helpful - thank you. Only problem that we had was that the garden was fenced so secure for small dogs. However, the fence was low so large dogs can jump it quite easily.
