Every large pack deserves a splash of luxury, and this grand Edwardian house in the Herefordshire countryside is brimming with lavish extra touches to spoil you and your party of 10 humans and four hounds. You’ll have plenty to amuse you all, whether you are entertaining in the games room, dipping your toes in the hot tub or lighting the BBQ for an extravagant supper. The Black Mountains in the distance are the perfect backdrop for drinks in the sunshine whilst your four-pawed pal dreams of chasing rabbits.

Step through the ornate entrance and scamper from room-to-room admiring the stylish interiors, setting your sights on the cosy drawing room with its plush sofas and wood burner or the adjoining sunroom with its pretty views of the countryside. Feed your entire party in the magnificent kitchen, then light the candles and gather in the formal dining area for a feast – don’t forget a few titbits for Rover. There’s a walk-in pantry, a cinema room and even a detached ‘artists studio’ with games galore, providing entertainment in the form of pool, table tennis, darts, a bar and a private gym. The winding River Wye is a must for fishing, wild swimming and kayaking, or why not enjoy a round of golf in the nearby club 9.5 miles away.

Ten of us had a very comfortable holiday at Swinmoor House. The standard of the accommodation was high in all respects. Ideally placed for doorstep walks and cycle rides, and an easy walk to the local shop and Red Lion pub. Sunsets over the Black Mountains viewed from the hot tub will live long in the memory!

Wonderfully equipped and tastefully furnished large house. Great gathering places for large groups but also plenty of space to find your own peace. We stayed a week in November with 5 people needing to work at various times and all managed no problem. Pub and village shop a 15 min walk (bring a torch!).

9 of us had our annual get together and we all loved your house. It had plenty of space for us all and a beautiful kitchen/dining area too. We had a local private chef to do our evening meal and it was amazing. We used Harry Evatt Bullock from Ludlow and would highly recommend him. Thank you once again for a brilliant few days.

Swinmoor is a superb house in a great location with plenty of space to relax in. The lounge, conservatory, dining room and kitchen had everything we required and the cinema room was an unexpected treat. The bedrooms are very comfortable. We had the most wonderful week at Swinmoor, beautiful countryside and so peaceful. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed watching the sun set over the black mountains whilst sitting in the hot tub! Our dog loved the suggested walks and the garden, which was a good size and beautifully laid out. The house had everything you needed and was Read morebeautifully furnished and decorated. The whole family very much enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful house. The weather was fabulous so we spent most of the time in the large very well kept garden which had lovely far reaching views. The house was large and comfortable, easily accommodating the three generations. We would definitely recommend this house.

Absolutely amazing house, has everything you need. Fantastic grounds for the babies and children to run around and be safe. There's nothing you would need as you have everything there. We also had my husbands 70th birthday meal at their restaurant, about a mile up the road The Red Lion. This was a lovely place for a gathering of friends. Great that each bedroom has a separate bath or shower. We enjoyed the cinema room and the hot tub and will definitely book again.

This is an amazing house with superb facilities for larger groups/families in a fantastic location. Everything about the property worked very well for our group of 4 separate couples. We made use of the hot tub and games room too. I would highly recommend this property to others.

We could not fault anything about Swinmoor house, it is finished and furnished to a very high standard and exceeded all our expectations. There was plenty of parking for our party of ten and the five cars that we arrived with.
