Located within the lower reaches of the Peak District National Park, there are plenty of opportunities for walks and bike rides here, including nearby Dovedale (7.5 miles), a scenic valley and nature reserve with lots of walking paths. Only 6 miles away, you should definitely veer off to the see the impressive Thor’s Cave, too. To refuel, the picturesque village of Parwich has a great dog-friendly pub (1.5 miles).
