Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this secluded cottage, in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. Get out and explore on foot and paw, with a plethora of walking routes nearby. Climb to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain for panoramic views over the Cotswolds, Brecon Beacons and Bristol Channel. Alternatively, take on the challenging 177-mile Offa’s Dyke Path which passes the property and takes you on a magnificent journey along the Wales/England border. You’ll also be within easy reach of the vibrant market town of Abergavenny (4 miles).

The property is located along a quiet country lane and has views across open countryside to the mountains beyond. It is full of rustic charm, with exposed beams and quaint furniture. The cosy lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect place to unwind after a long dog walk, reading a book on the comfy sofa whilst Rover stretches out in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire. Upstairs, discover a spacious super-king-size bedroom which can be made into twin beds on request (just watch out for the restricted head height) and a handy shower room. Outside, the hound can potter around the enclosed garden whilst you admire the stunning scenery. You’ll also have access to a shared heated indoor pool with a resistance machine (opens early April - early November). This property has been approved by Visit Wales.

The border town of Crickhowell (6 miles) is the ideal place to wander around on a lazy afternoon. Potter along the narrow streets and grab a bite to eat in one of the woof-friendly cafes, before heading down to the river to admire the 17th-century stone bridge and take a gentle dog walk along the riverside path. Those with a penchant for photography must head to Llanthony Priory (9 miles). The 13th-century ruins are a sight to behold, dramatically set below the imposing Black Mountains.

  • 1 super king size bedroom (can be made into a twin bedroom on request - please request prior to arrival)
  • 1 shower room with shower, WC and sink
  • Electric oven, 2 ring electric hob, microwave, fridge
  • Wood effect electric fire

Amazing views, and 2 very comfortable and well equipped cottages. Very helpful and friendly owners. The swim pool was a real bonus, especially as the rain didn't stop for 4 days. Beautiful gardens and great having a huge secure field for the dogs. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage set in Sugar loaf mountains in Pantyghelli, Abergavenny Wales. It was nice to actually get some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday normal life. The resistance pool was fab, could still keep up with my exercises and the gym was brilliant too. Planning going back next year,

Found the property to be in an idyllic setting, countryside, bird's singing, peace and quiet too. A stones throw away is the town of Abergavenny and further on Crickhowell. Excellent market day's. The perfect retreat.

The cottage was great and had everything we needed. We were obsessed with the garden so spent the majority of the time (when not out and about) sat in there. You feel totally surrounded by nature with views that you could never tire off.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The views from the cottage were breathtaking. The cottage it self had everything you needed. You had your own small garden and a secure field for the dog to run around. Very comfortable accommodation.
