This stunning barn conversion provides spacious accommodation for up to six humans and their two happy hounds. It makes a brilliant base for exploring Dorset's untouched, rural beauty and even has an enclosed garden where your pups can enjoy the views.
Usher excited pets into this light and bright, single-storey barn, where guests will be greeted with the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This will be the home's social hub during your stay, making a wonderful space to unwind with a cup of tea or toast tufty paws in front of the roaring wood burner. Its vaulted ceiling and large windows create a beautiful setting for whipping up family favourites in the kitchen and gathering around the table to celebrate special occasions. The utility room is a handy feature, with plenty of room to store dog leads, treats and pairs of towels for rubbing down mucky pups. When it's time for bed, say goodnight to your contented canines and make your way to one of three delightfully designed bedrooms, two of which are super-king-size and boast en-suites. In the morning, let your four-pawed pals run amok in the enclosed patio garden, where you can enjoy your first coffee of the day with front-row seats to the surrounding countryside. Ample private parking is also available.
Pull on your walking boots and stroll around the pretty village of Corton Denham, which is nestled in the valley between Corton Hill and Corton Ridge. For adventurous pups, the area has many opportunities for walkies, including three well-trodden trails – MacMillan Way, Monarch's Way National Trail, and Leland Trail. Get stuck into history at the National Trust properties in the area, including Stourhead (16 miles) and Barrington Court (20.5 miles), or mosey around one of the most beautiful towns in England, Sherbourne (4 miles).
