Bring your paw-some pal along for some four-legged fun when you stay at this delightful Norfolk cottage. Sleeping three guests, the two-bedroom hideaway is a paradise for pups thanks to its large garden and proximity to dog-friendly beauty spots. Situated in the tranquil village of Hempstead, 3 miles from Holt, it is well positioned for an array of picturesque beaches, scenic footpaths and country estates with extensive parkland grounds.
Dry damp paws in the porch after long walks. Follow your happy hound into the kitchen to top up his water bowl, dish up his dinner and unpack the delicious produce you have bought for yourselves. Take a small step down to join him in the airy lounge/diner, where he can curl up in front of a crackling wood burner while you sink into the plush blue sofa with the Smart TV on. Your colourful dining table for your holiday meals is also in here. As night falls, settle your contented canine and make your own way up to the first floor of the retreat, taking care on the cottage-style stairs. Savour a perfect night’s sleep in either the double or single bedroom, before awaking to a refreshing rinse in the family shower room. Take your pal out into the generous garden to unleash some energy. Take in the views out over rural North Norfolk from out here as you throw his ball for him. There is parking for one car on the shared driveway.
Venture 2.5 miles with your lively holiday companion to let him bound about the expanses of Holt Country Park. Salthouse Beach, 6 miles away, is also pet friendly. Here you can pick up the Norfolk Coast Path and stride out together in either direction. Attempt the 6.5-mile section to the coastal town of Sheringham, for example.
