The village has a choice of local amenities, or visit Lymington (6 miles) with its strong maritime heritage, cobbled streets and pretty harbour, just the place for a boat trip/hire. For more of an adventure, why not take the ferry to the Isle of Wight (11 miles) where dogs travel free? For wide open spaces and open woodlands try dog-friendly Burley (7 miles) The National Motor Museum is also at Beaulieu (10 miles) where dogs are welcome in the gardens.
