This is a lovely property set in a rural location. It is spacious with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a pleasant outlook. This is our second trip to Owl Cottage and it didnt disappoint (you know some places arent as good as you remember them). Has everything you could wish for - we were 4 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of seating and room for us all - other places have only had seating for 4. Highlights of the property were the convenience of the cafe, general location and watching the wildlife in the evenings (bats and rabbits every night). Kitchen was quite poorly stocked and overall the property felt a little worn.

The cottage was perfect for our family of four and two dogs. We thought it was brilliant value and a great location. We had days out at Seaham (daughter's loved collecting sea glass), an afternoon in Durham and a visit to Locomotion.
