When you say goodnight to your pups, you’ll find the twin bedroom and family shower room on the ground floor, with the beautifully styled double bedroom – with distinctive Arts and Crafts details – on the first floor. This bedroom has a wonderful en-suite bathroom. The private garden provides space for children and dogs to stretch their legs, though please note it is not completely secure. You’re only half a mile from the edge of Grasmere lake, and eager hounds will enjoy the 4-mile circuit which takes in woodland, marshes and a lakeside path. Head to the jetty in Ambleside, 4.5 miles, and you and your well-behaved furry friends (on a lead) can all enjoy a scenic boat cruise around Windermere, England’s largest natural lake.
