Ambleside (1.5 miles) boasts a variety of shops and eateries, along with a local art gallery and independent cinema. From here, you can explore the Roman fort or hop on a picturesque lake cruise on Lake Windermere, stopping at Windermere or stepping off to explore other lakeside walks.
Bursting with rustic character, this reverse-level cottage has been designed to make the most of the breathtaking views. Upon entering the property, head upstairs to the main living spaces where original wooden beams and exposed slate walls offer a warm, traditional feel.
