Along the hallway the lounge is a cosy space to unwind, where humans can enjoy comfortable sofas and a Smart TV whilst your happy hound can warm their fur by the wood burner-effect electric fire. Or, in sunnier weather, make full use of the pretty garden space, furnished patio and fun games room, offering enjoyable pastimes for man and dog alike.
Take a trip to Seahouses beach (25 miles), enjoying the sweeping landscapes of the Northumberland Coast AONB whilst letting kids and canines splash in the sea and sand. Parents less keen on wet paws and sandy boots may instead prefer a trip to the Northumberland National park (5 miles), where an abundance of dog walks offer both easy and challenging routes. Or, staying a little closer to home, head for the Scottish Border (1 mile) and enjoy calming walks along the River Tweed, stopping off at friendly local pubs in Coldstream (2.7 miles) and Kelso (10 miles).
