This stylish cottage, situated in the small East Riding village of Lund, is great for the whole family – including two four-legged members! If there are a few muddy paws after a lovely, long country walk, bring the puppy essentials and clean them off on the patio before unwinding in front of the fire; your canine companion will be re-energised and ready for another adventure in no time.

As you enter the property, you'll come across the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, where you and your pup can have some chill time together in front of the warming wood burner on a chilly evening. If your canine companion is still raring to go, you can open the patio doors onto the enclosed garden; your dog will go barking mad when he realised how much space he has to run around. When its time for bed, your pampered pooch can sprawl out on a cosy rug and dream of the fun they'll have the next day whilst you choose either the super king-size or the king-sized bed upstairs. When it's time for breakfast, enjoy an al fresco coffee in the garden whilst your pup leaves no stick unfetched!

Lund offers a dog-friendly pub within half a mile of the cottage, but if you want a change of scenery, you can make your way to the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is about 25 miles away. If you want to explore the seaside, Hornsea beach is just 13 miles away and offers a lovely walk along the promenade – be aware, seasonal dog restrictions apply on the beach. This country cottage is perfect if you're wanting a peaceful retreat and is sure to give you and your doggy friend a new leash of life.

A great renovation sympathetically achieved. Still an old cottage but warm and modern with nicely picked antique furniture. Very tasteful with gorgeous new doors and furniture.

OK for a family who know each other. Soundproofing between rooms could be better. Lovely pub in village but not open Monday and Tuesday. Booking for food essential. Car also essential as only 2 buses a day.

This cottage is in a lovely, friendly village, with a great, private garden ideal for dogs to run about. The cottage is well provided, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely consider it again if holidaying in the area.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. A nice garden to relax in. Very comfortable and spacious bed. The owners Sue and Peter are very friendly and helpful. The area is superb for walking and we visited 2 lovely gardens at Burnby Hall and Sledmere house and a visit to Beverley is a must on market day. Great cottage for families and with dogs. Fantastic garden and walks around the area. Great base for exploring. Owners very friendly. The 2 local pubs/restaurants were out of this world food wise (1 with Michelin star!). Great layout and would come again with perhaps grandparents in adjoining property.

Only negative was when we ran out of logs on last night....we only used a few logs on the nights we lit the fire and when we asked about having just a couple of logs for the last night ,they offered to sell us some, which we found a bit tight, especially after what we had paid for three nights due it being over New Year.Fab location and lovely cottaRead morege. We have stayed in the cottage next door before, so this was our second stay with our hosts. The location is good for us as we have family in the area, but have noticed an increase in the price of food at the local pub.
