Just on the edge of Exmoor National Park, this is the perfect place for walkers, families and friends with up to two happy hounds. Explore the local villages, picturesque walks on the doorstep, or venture further afield to the beaches of the North Devon coastline. Owned by dog lovers who live next door, you know you can relax in style in this property, with your canine companions most welcome in the downstairs area.

The impressively furnished lounge retains many original features, where you can return from a day’s exploring to enjoy family films using the Amazon Firestick while your doggy pals relax in front of the fire. The kitchen/diner is all set for a hearty family meal, while the enclosed rear courtyard, where you can enjoy a BBQ, is ideal to keep your pets safe and secure. Floors downstairs are all paw-friendly, including the bathroom and main en-suite bedroom, so no worries after a long walk with your canine chums.

This property is less than half a mile from the historic market town of Dulverton with its tea rooms, galleries, independent shops, dog-friendly pubs and restaurants, and the oldest medieval bridge on Exmoor. Home to the Exmoor National Park Centre, it is one of Somerset’s most beautiful areas, also within a designated Dark Sky Reserve. Take time to enjoy the fantastic dog walks along the riverbank, and through Burridge Woods (1 mile). Exmoor is known for its wild ponies, so perhaps visit the Exmoor Pony Centre (3 miles) where dogs on leads are welcome. Further afield, other places of interest in the area are the pretty village of Porlock (17 miles), the harbour town of Watchet (17 miles), and the picturesque medieval village of Dunster (15 miles), with its fascinating castle.

Absolutely beautiful house on the edge of the village. Warm, cosy and very clean. A ground floor bedroom and bathrooms were perfect for our elderly relative. Much bigger than the photos suggest, lots of room for everyone. The welcome pack of tea and cake was a lovely touch. Dulverton is an easy walk and has everything you need. Be sure to book restRead moreaurants well in advance though. Nice shops, walks. A very happy family and dog. Hide

Little Meadow is a very spacious, comfortable holiday home which is tastefully furnished throughout. Guests can walk into Dulverton which is a very interesting village with independent shops and a monthly farmers market. Ideal for a peaceful family holiday when visiting Exmoor.
