Friends or family alike can bring a furry friend or two to stay at this quaint cottage, updated to make a great base for exploring this beautiful area of West Wales. The property truly ticks every canine box with New Quay boasting three beaches, the nearest and most dog-friendly being Traeth y Dolau beach.
Spend quality holiday time in this quirky cottage, with sophisticated decor in neutral tones dotted with playful nautical touches. The French doors make the living space lovely and light, but also open onto a cute terraced area complete with table and chairs, just right for a quiet cuppa or sundowner. If you wish to self-cater, you can easily prepare holiday fare in the well-appointed kitchen, before eating together in the panelled dining room. There’s a double bedroom on the ground floor, too, which gives good flexibility for guests. The upstairs bedrooms all offer glorious sea views, some with window seats to enjoy them. Furry friends will love sniffing around the enclosed garden, that has three tiers and patio gardens and seating. Savour the inspiring views from the top one, in particular. The garden’s steep in places, however, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on children or older dogs. There’s more seating to the front of the cottage, so you can catch the sun (or shade!) whatever time of day it is.
This cottage is located in the northern part of New Quay, within 0.5 miles of eateries and amenities, so it makes an ideal base for exploring this popular seaside town. It offers three beaches including Harbour, Traeth Gwyn and Traeth y Dolau (this latter welcoming dogs all year). Or beach hop to explore the Cardigan Bay coast, keeping your eyes peeled for Bottlenose Dolphins.
