Take your family and pets for a peaceful escape at this striking cottage deep in the Cornish countryside. It’s located within a friendly holiday park and surrounded by gorgeous views for a peaceful start to each day. You’ll be in a convenient spot 0.5 miles from Poughill, a picture-postcard village with 17 listed buildings including several with thatched roofs, plus a dog-friendly pub for those relaxed pints with your nuzzle monsters at your feet. When it’s time for some seaside fun, Bude’s sandy beaches are just 2 miles away, offering great opportunities for walks, surfing and exploring the local shops and cafes.

This beautiful cottage has a striking black-and-white exterior and lots of windows allowing plenty of light in. Original features like elegant timber beams upstairs add to the charm. Downstairs, the open-plan living area is ideal for spending quality time with your family and pets, with comfortable sofas and a wood burner for warming up after a day of fresh-air adventures. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking up a storm, while the dining area is located next to large glass doors for a lovely view while you eat. You’ll have three stylishly decorated bedrooms upstairs – a super-king that can be made into a twin on request, a king-size and a twin. A family bathroom on this level and a shower room downstairs complete the space. Outside, your furry companions will love making the most of the enclosed courtyard garden, where they can safely roam while you enjoy a morning coffee on the terrace or an evening BBQ.

Bude has five beaches that are dog-friendly all year round, including the National Trust site at Sandymouth Bay (3.5 miles) which you may choose to access via the South West Coast Path for a tail-waggingly good day out. This unspoilt tidal beach is located within the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast, a 60-mile-long stretch of startling, rugged cliffs that are a joy to explore with your four-legged companions. Got kids with you? The Milky Way (14.5 miles), a popular amusement park, is happy for well-behaved older dogs to accompany you inside.

Beautiful location overlooking the sheep fields and can see the sea! Spacious, comfortable property with everything you need which all 3 generations enjoyed. A short car journey to many beaches. Great patio and grass space that we all enjoyed including the dogs!

Perfect Cornish get away! This is a lovely property with everything you could need. All beds are comfortable with ample bedding. The cottage was lovely. Very roomy, airy & light. Location was ideal for so many beaches it was hard to pick.. Seeing the cows everyday was lovely. No smell. We all had a lovely holiday. The welcome package was outstanding & thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thankyou.

Stunning location. Views were lovely whilst sat on the decking. Its near to some gorgeous beaches and a great local pub just a short walk away. Overall a lovely place to stay would definitely recommend it and would certainly go back.

The accommodation was very well laid out and had everything we needed. Could not fault anything. The welcome pack was particularly nice. The location was excellent and only a short drive or reasonable walk to Bude. It is located close to the Wooda Caravan Park which has a restaurant and Takeaway service for Pizza and Fish and Chips. The pictures on the website do not do the property justice. Everything is finished to a very high standard from the comfortable beds and sofas to the cleanliness. Cottage is 1 of the best we've stayed in home or abroad and views from the decking are amazing .the cottage is a credit to the owners and I'll be back again in the near future

We stayed here for the week at the end of April, and had fantastic weather! The cottage itself is fantastic, the location is perfect, rural set, but only a 2-3 min drive to the main A road, so quick access to the Atlantic Highway. Inside the cottage, the facilities available to you are second to none, the kitchen is fantastic, with the sandyford ovRead moreen being the center piece. This is the best property we have stayed at. The owners have done the property up to a very high standard. Everything is comfortable and clean. We had a super king bed which was amazing we want to be comfortable when we go away.
