Dogs are welcome aboard the ferry to St Mawes. Must-sees include Falmouth’s outstanding National Maritime Museum and beautiful Trelissick Gardens (5 miles). Under the National Trust’s pawprint code, dogs cannot enter the central gardens, but are warmly welcome to explore the extensive parkland, woodland and small beach.
