Escape to West Cornwall with your significant others of both the canine and human variety with this recently renovated cottage. Set within a working farm surrounded by rolling fields, it is also just 1 mile from the coast, perfect for countryside canines and salty sea dogs alike. When you’re not out discovering new smells, sounds and sights, rest weary feet and paws in front of the roaring wood burner or tuck into a sausage or two from the BBQ in the enclosed garden.

Inside, this charming cottage has been lovingly finished to provide stylish and open-plan accommodation with plenty of space to curl up for a quick snooze in between walkies. The bespoke kitchen area with a dining table opens onto the garden so that inquisitive pups can come and go as they please while owners enjoy a romantic meal for two. At the end of a long and tiring day, fire up the wood burner and settle in for a cosy night of TV, or indulge in a long soak in the stylish bathroom. Upstairs, the super-king-size bedroom is an elegant space complete with a vaulted ceiling and balcony with stunning rural views. Outside, the enclosed garden is the perfect place to enjoy some Cornish sunshine.

A fantastic base from which to explore the Lizard Peninsula and beyond, this charming property is within easy reach of some of the county’s best walks and beauty spots. For beach-loving pups, head for Kennack Sands (2.5 miles), Porthleven (12.5 miles) or Mullion Cove (5 miles), or for those who prefer sniffing their way along a footpath, the South West Coast Path is hard to beat. The nearby fishing village of Cadgwith (1 mile) is home to thatched cottages, shops, a restaurant and dog-friendly pub, renowned for its regular Cornish music acts.
