Downberry Beach (13.5 miles) is a big hit with dog walkers. Dog friendly all year round, it’s nicely sheltered and there’s even a nice dog-friendly pub just above the beach. There are also some great dog-friendly eateries in the picture-postcard village of Looe (11.5 miles), so pull up a chair, order some lunch, and watch the boats bobbing on the bay.
