Enjoy a family escape to the West Country and stay at this characterful holiday home set within a stone-built barn conversion on Cornwall’s north coast. With a roaring wood burner in the cosy lounge, a private garden hosting a hot tub, and your faithful friend welcome to join you, your entire pack can enjoy a memorable retreat at this timeless cottage.

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by a light, airy kitchen/diner, the perfect spot for family meals. With a door leading directly to the garden, dining alfresco is a breeze, and Rover can come and go as he pleases. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, while the lounge invites you to unwind on comfortable leather sofas, where you can enjoy your favourite shows on the TV while your four-legged friend basks in the warmth of the wood burner. Upstairs, you'll find two beautifully decorated bedrooms, each offering a touch of contemporary country style. The first is a charming double bedroom with a Juliet balcony. The second is a twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a super-king-size upon request. A stylish shower room completes the interior layout. Outside, the cottage’s enclosed garden offers a fantastic space to unwind after a day of exploring. With a lawn, patio area, BBQ, hot tub, and comfortable garden furniture, it’s perfect for relaxing in the sun or playing a game of fetch. There’s also private off-road parking for two cars.

Just 3.5 miles from the cottage lies pet-friendly Trebarwith Strand, a beautiful beach that's perfect for a day out, especially during the summer when lifeguards are on duty and a surf school offers lessons. From here, you can easily access the South West Coast Path for tail-wagging walks along the stunning North Cornwall coastline. Nearby, the village of Tintagel (4.5 miles) beckons with its legendary castle ruins and the iconic 60-metre bridge connecting two cliffs, offering one of the most dramatic views in Britain. A lovely welcoming cottage that has plenty of equipment for your stay. It was clean and comfortable and the location was excellent, great for exploring the surrounding area. All was good. Property was lovely, everything you wanted/needed was there. Really good. The only downside was you had to drive everywhere (apart from Tintagel brewery if the weather was ok), remote.
