This is our second stay in this cottage and we really like it. It's clean and has everything you need. Yes it's up the hill but it's only a 7 minute walk and you're right in town so as long as you don't have mobility issues it's fine.. Also has its own parking and an enclosed patio with some grass out the front if your dog is fussy like ours. GreaRead moret cottage, always enjoy our stay. Hide

The house is in need of a major refresh inc. new soft furnishings and a good sofa clean. (We always bring our own throws to protect all furnishings incase the dogs get on them) It smelled of damp-we bought air fresheners , there was no tea towel, the tin opener was broken, although notified about the damaged bathroom door lock the door could not beRead more closed as the interior doorknob was not attached. Having stayed here before it was really disappointing and has sadly put us off returning Hide

A lovely warm comfortable dog friendly cottage. View of the beach from bedroom window is amazing. Too steep (for our knees) to walk to the shops/beach.

We booked this cottage after seeing photographs from inside the property showing a lovely view of Pebble Ridge, the Burroughs,Estuary and across to Braunton. The bedroom view, at the moment,is as was shown, however the view from the lounge is completely obliterated by trees and various other vegetation on land immediately in front of the property ,veRead morery dissappointing,Also the patio area at the side of the property has numerous weeds growing between the slabs, very untidy.Otherwise, very good. We had a problem with the CH boiler not working properly which hadn't been resolved by the time we left which spoilt our stay there. The cottage was lovely throughout though its a bit of a hike uphill to it but at the age of 70+ years I managed it. Great views of the beach and sea from top bedroom and some lovely sunsets.
