In this romantic cottage for two, you can spend your evenings lounging in a relaxing hot tub and your days surfing and sunbathing. Situated on the edge of the Cornish surfing town of Bude, this charming home-from-home provides the perfect base from which to explore the coast, countryside and cliff-top walks this area is famous for, with your two canine companions along for the trip. Packed with quirky period features and little added extras, this holiday hideaway could soon be the backdrop to your next Cornish adventure.

After leaving your vehicle in the large gravelled drive area, you’ll step into the spacious open-plan kitchen/lounge area with a separate dining room in the adjoining conservatory. After satisfying your hunger pangs with the complimentary cream tea, you’ll head into the cosy double bedroom to unpack. No doubt you’ll want to jump straight into the comfortable double bed that’s tucked away under wooden beams, but before that, you should definitely head outside for a quick dip in the hot tub before lighting the wood burner in the lounge, ready for a toasty snuggle with Fido before bedtime.

Bude itself can be found within 7 miles and, in addition to the six different beaches that are dotted along the coast, you will find an excellent selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes and pubs. Holsworthy is a little closer to home, just 3 miles from the cottage, with a village shop where you can stock up on your essentials. For something a little different, travel 9 miles to Tamar Lakes Country Park and surround yourself in the great British countryside. With off-road woodland trails along with more accessible footpaths for the less mobile, this is a fantastic day out for all the family – including the four-legged members!

Great location close to beach. On a busy road so reactive dogs like ours were barking. Owners were very good.

Lovely little hideaway, close to both Bude and Holsworthy. Had everything we needed for a lovely break, including a lovely hot tub at the rear of the property. Very friendly and helpful hosts, so a big shout-out to them. Located set back from a busy road, but not so intrusive to affect our experience. We had a fabulous few days at this great cottage. Whilst the weather was not our friend, we had everything we needed to properly kick back and relax, which was much needed. It is on a busy road, but we were aware of that when booking. Enough secure outdoor space for our two large dogs to stretch their legs, a well equipped cottage with everything yRead moreou could need, a log burner with wood provided and a fab hot tub. What more could you want?! Thank you for a great stay (& lovely scones!) Hide

The cottage was wonderful. Everything worked as it should. We had no problems whatsoever. Very dog secure which is always a relief. The hot tub is a great bonus too.

Very comfortable and cosy - home from home ! Initial problems when we arrived with electric sockets - electrician had to be called . Situated near a very busy road - sitting outside it was very noisy with very fast traffic - get care had to be taken when entering or exiting the yard to the property !

The property is a loverly quirky little cottage, it was warm and cosy for a winter/spring break. It is spotlessy clean and well equipped. The location was close to lots of places to visit. It was on the side of a busy road (60mph limit) so there was road noise in the conservatory, after about 7pm the road was quieter and OK during the night. You haRead mored to be careful exiting the driveway during the day. The hot tub was excellent, clean, hot and very secluded at the rear of the property. Hide

Very comfortable cottage with kitchen well equiped for self catering. and loads of storage space. Hot Tub a bonus and loved the robes - very useful. Central heating keeps the place nice and toasty, although we did use the wood burner a lot, which is very efficient. Will defiitely be back next year.
